Post-installation accessory checklist

Check function, safety, finishing, electrical behavior, settings, documents, and symptoms over the following days.

Handover checks should happen before the vehicle leaves. Some symptoms appear only after a trip and should be recorded with the conditions in which they occur.

Questions before deciding

Bring vehicle context and usage patterns. Good answers narrow the options and identify the inspection required.

  1. Does every new function work in the promised modes and conditions?
  2. Do original functions, indicators, sensors, audio, AC, lights, and controls remain normal?
  3. Are there loose panels, noises, heat, odor, leaks, errors, or battery drain?
  4. Which settings, apps, codes, warranties, care instructions, and support paths should be retained?

Useful checks

Use these checks as a starting point for handover. Final scope still depends on the vehicle, product, and agreed work.

  • Watch the demonstration and operate it yourself before leaving.
  • Inspect work areas under adequate light and photograph the result.
  • Retest after a short trip and several days of use.
  • Report symptoms with time, conditions, images, or video rather than a conclusion alone.
